Coffin

Slow, still moving though
Pull on this rope,
And take me down.
Smoke, I’m catching smoke
My hands are broke,
So take me down.
Time is going quick
My neck is stiff
And here I sit wondering.
You nail the coffin on your own
You know it too well
You stack them up and watch them drop
You never stop.
I put my good foot first
You’re miles ahead
You took the world on today
I’m going back to bed.
Head all over the place
I feel so misplaced
where have I been?
Guess I’m going nowhere
My god, it’s not fair
The things I’ve seen.
