Could pitch our tent up on the mountainside
Under stars beneath an open sky
Thru desert, hand in hand, we’d cross the calm
The gritty grains of sand between our palms
We break out sailing, sliver from the source
With only stars above to set our course
The wind denies directions we demand
We pull the wheel and feel the ropes in hand
Imagination to pretend
A fascination in the end
Growing wings, we fail to fly
To know these things
And how to die
Do I take, in any form
Any shelter in the storm?
To grow feet and walk the land
