Undertow

And the tide swept it all away
Deep within, storms are born this way
Flow into the black and grey
As another mast sinks
Below the violent waves today
And the rain will fall toward the sky tonight
And the seas rise and fall and sway
And this lost one will not escape
Try to swim against the waves
As another crash lands
To take the breath away again
I can’t see the land, i’m sinking
Another spire drowns
Beneath the undertow
And i can’t find the rhyme or reason
It’s getting hard
To keep myself from letting go
