She likes crying. He loves the game.
She’s always trying. He can’t complain.
And they go on and on trying to let the other believe,
That they are keeping each other strong and there is nothing they need.
All she wanted; someone to please. All he wants is a girl with good knees.
And they carry on and on pretending that they are perfect for each other,
When anyone else can clearly see they’re the opposite.
So turn around, confess; see that you’ve left a mess.
I know you’re mad, but I don’t deserve this.
She only sees dollar signs in his eyes.
He only needs what she’s got between those thighs.
And they’ll never understand exactly what they do to each other.
And everyone else will casually call them idiots.
So take your shit back!
And I’ll take mine!
What’s the point in trying to make it right?
They’re more happy making up from a fight that sparked from someone’s careless
comment.
Only hear what was said, never knowing what was meant!
