When All Is Said and Done

The city asleep in the shadows
Unaware of a holy exchange
The cup overflowing with all of my sins
Was traded for Jesus that day
Freely the Father gave it
And freely my Savior drank
With blood on His brow and love in His heart
He swallowed my death and shame
And when all was said and done
The cup was not too much
For Hell cannot contain You and death cannot restrain You
The grave can never barricade my Jesus inside
The curse forever broken when the cup of sin was chosen
Now my hope is in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ
My Savior announced, «It is finished»
Knowing full well what would come
A war in the grave the stone rolled away
And the power of hell overcome!
