Intro/Our Father

Our father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, I know I’ve been sinning
but I’m wonderin'
If I’ll be forgiven for everything that I have done in vain
Under strain, I know if I met you right now I would have my head hung in shame
Because of the things I’ve been doin you don’t want me pursuin but sellin dope
so I’m the one to blame
Run that game, I gotta get my money so I do what I gotta so I can feed my fam
But once in a time, I gotta do bad things so I wonder if the life that I lead
is damned
I need a hand, help me to forgive those who wanna trespass and who try to
pretend
Cuz when I come across somebody who’s been doin me dirty I wanna get immediate
revenge
I descend, down with the quickness, feeling like I’m trapped in a pit so dark
Mentally battling with the beast within till eventually my mind just splits
apart
Fix my heart, all the wickeness in the world has turned it cold and black
Even though my heart may bleed cuz I’m wantin salvation I gotta keep my soul
intact
Holding back, never, gotta rise above the haters who wanna see me flop
And I know what my downfall is so Lord could please let the greed be stopped?
Lead me not, into temptation, help me get away from the hate and pain
When I die, I don’t wanna spend eternity living in Hell where Satan reigns,
draped in chains
I feel like a fallen angel tryna get right with God
And I’m ready and willing to try to get back up to Heaven with Him despite the
odds
Hear my prayer, help me overcome the demons and the negativity they send
To you I pray in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit
