Luminous Rot

Beneath the earth I crawl blind & numb
My fingers tease for any hint of you
The heat of you glows red behind my eyes
& I follow the trail & I follow your trail

Within the soil I am contained
Your tendrils itch & grow towards
As I worm away from your burning skin
My eyes too blind my ears too deaf to hear
