Honey Grubbing Me

I hear the humbuzz of the bees
so gently floating around your knees.
Your dress of white breathes summer light
to sweat the sweet skin of your knees.
I hear the humbuzz of the bees
intently forming around your knees.
They tickle your dress (oooh) to leave a mess
of honey dripping from your knees.

I hear the humbuzz of the bees
violently swarming around your knees.
They then begin to sting your skin
to send you falling to your knees.
Until I come to cover you
and lay you down in fields of ease
My body lies a sacrifice
to take the poison of the bees.

We sleep for days in summer fields
and long forgotten are the bees.
