I woke up, saw the note by my pillow
«Goodbye» was all it said
I looked around the room and all her things were gone
I fell right back down in my bed
Then everything started to glow and shine
Like Michelangelo on the ceilings in my mind
Angels and clouds and the stars divine
Suddenly, I’m overwhelmed cause I find
That I feel like I’m free
I’m revealed, yes I’m free

After a time
I realized that nothing’s the same
I get to make my own decisions
But I have to live with my own mistakes
