Jesus Wept

It’s Jesus' birthday he’s turning 29
He’s gathered his disciples to celebrate the time
He walks into the hall, he’s left the door ajar.
Thomas, says jokingly,
«Hey Jesus, were you born in a barn?»
And Jesus wept.
Jesus wept.
Jesus wept.
'Cause he was born in a barn.
He was born in an actual barn.
Thomas felt like a dick, the disciples went silent.
Thomas was very sorry, hadn’t meant anything by it.
Thomas went to Jesus and apologized with a kiss.
Thomas raised his glass, laughing
«Gee this wine tastes like piss»
And Jesus wept.

'Cause the wine, it was his piss.
The wine was his actual piss.
